Victoria Secret Soft Focus Liquid Foundation Review

I can never go to the mall without visiting the Victoria Secret store, it always lures me inside. VS semi-annual sale is one event I always look forward to, I get to stock up on perfumes and lotions to keep/give away. fortunately my mom was there to remind me of my 'collection' so I just got 3 items (while she got tons - . -) anyhooows while waiting for my mom to finish shopping I discovered some cosmetics in the 75% off bin. Foundations-concealers-lipsticks-eyeshadows-liquid liners. I originally wanted to get some concealers but I couldnt find any shade in light, so I just ended up getting their foundation in light40 and one for my cousin.

So when I was rummaging in the bin all I found out there were 3 shades: light, medium, and deep. little miss me didnt notice until I got home that beside the light/medium/deep there is a number regarding the shade. (I tend to get a lot of 'ahhh!' moments) well luckily light40 was really close to my shade. When I first applied this I was checking myself in the mirror since it blended really easy and looked like I just applied moisturizer since it disappeared on my skin. The coverage was very light but is also buildable. Even after applying this 2-3x it still did not cake or look like I was wearing foundation. I was liking it until I noticed that my face looked very very dewy everywhere. blah! of course everything has a con

PROS:
-> contains SPF20
-> price (I got these for $3.50 each)
-> Packaging is sleek and comes with a pump
-> feels light and moisturizing
-> Buildable without looking cakey

CONS:
-> light coverage
-> very dewy
-> being discountinued?

When I looked at the Victoria Secret website I couldnt find this product anymore, so I'm thinking that this is either being discountinued or they are going to have a new formula/packaging for it? Overall I think I would be using this a lot during winter(since it is moisturizing) but not during summer.

Nice review. :) Have you tried setting it wit powder to somehow help with the dewiness?

thanks, I have its just that I dont really retouch my makeup during the day so it was a bother, and the heat in FL just makes the dewiness worse. -. -

I'll add your giveaway on my sidebar too.

It is good for my dry skin, but not good with the weather here. it was on sale too for around $3 something?
