C+M Soothing Cleansing Milk

This is an old purchase from sasa at a time when I started using foundations. I was looking around the sasa website when I stumbled upon this brand. The description for the C+M brand is that it was "a famous French personal and skincare brand with a wide range of whitening, suncare, antiallergy, moisturizing, deodorant, and acne treatment products." words that made me interested French, famous, anti allergy, and moisturizing. There was over 50 different skincare products listed ranging from cleansers to serums, and the price is very affordable compared to other brands. The Soothing Cleansing Milk did not have those long detailed description I like reading about (contains etc. for bla bla.. sort of details) but a simple "C+M Soothing Cleansing Milk can remove make- up gently and leave skin soft." and a how to use. very simple, straightforward, and it cost less than my drugstore cleansers. 

Direction is really simple, you apply this with a light massage and wipe it away with a cotton pad. no need to wash after.

It is hard to see, but I had Revlon Photoready Foundation swatched on my hand (L-R) see the glitters from the foundation, *massage* then *wipe*, and voila~ clean moisturized skin.

Visible from the cotton pad is all the foundation that was removed, and I used this cleanser AFTER I washed/rubbed my hand with soap trying to take the foundation off. So far for me Photoready foundation from Revlon is the hardest to remove foundation that I have. I would wash my face with my cleanser, take a shower, and still have glitter/residue from the foundation. UGH! 

This is a really great product for removing makeup, and another plus is that it leaves my skin really moisturized after. BUT... as much as how great this works I rarely use it because of the scent (very strong sunscreen-ish scent) and how weird it feels when I dont wash it off after. (feels thick and makes me feel uncomfortable)

PROS:

-> Cheap (Under $4)

-> works great removing tough makeup

-> Moisturizing

-> No water required

-> 2 in 1 (makeup remover and moisturizer)

-> did not cause any breakouts/red spots (my skin is very sensitive, reactions happen overnight sometimes)

-> was not harsh

-> almost like applying cream

CONS:
-> scented
-> very moisturizing (which is too much)
-> feels thick/obvious
-> can only be bought online

I only use this when I have the photoready on, (which is rarely now) but I always wash my face with a cleanser after since I cant stand the lingering scent. I guess it depends on the person if they are fine with the scent, and the feeling of it.

 Overall this is a really great product for those not overly ocd like me.

TCM Mask

TCM Mask/Bio'MAIN

I got these in sasa.com listed under TCM mask, just checked the website and its all out of stock but from the past stock updates there are 4 types of this sleeping mask. Cubilose Pearl, Fomes Japonica Spore, Korea Ginseng, and Cordyceps Sinensis. TCM Mask also have regular mask/peel off mask: Remove Pox Mask, Volcano Ash White pack, Whiten Moisture Mask, Anti wrinkles mask. Which I have yet to try.

SASA does not have information about what each is for, and the only information in SASA is that this is a sleeping mask which you can just wash off in the morning or leave it on. Perfect for lazy people like me.

I tried looking online for more information but unfortunately this brand is hard to find, and the only place that sells this is SASA or those asian wholesale website. 

Cubilose Pearl is the first I tried, right away the scent is overwhelming, It reminded me of this chinese herb/dermatologist place me and my grandmother visited before. There is a lot of product in each pack, and since I dont need a lot to cover my face, a pack last me a week. The scent is VERY strong and VERY chinese herb-ish, at first the scent if seriously overwhelming but ehh I'm getting used to it. Since I have no idea what Cubilose Pearl is 'supposed' to do, I really cant say if this is working or not but since I have used this, I noticed that in the morning my skin is moisturized, supple, and that my skin texture has improved. 

Fomes Japonica Spore is the second mask I have tried, this is somewhat the same as cubilose pearl (moisturizing, and texture improvement) but this helps more with bringing impurities out. Every time of the month I get a nasty pimple that takes forever to surface/heal, but since I started using this I noticed the next day that the pimple is on the surface and as I kept using this the pimple has become smaller and have dried off. YAY~

I wish that this will come in a tube/tub since I'm not very fond of the packaging. I tried ordering more of the sleeping packs but for some reason SASA wont let me order more than 1 quantity. 

Buy again? Yes

sasa.com haul : VOV, Shills, Beautymate

I'm going to take a break from posting E.L.F products since my new 'addiction' now is buying asian skincare products. :D Me and the boyfriend have this thing going on where I promised I wouldnt buy anymore makeup products. *cross my fingers*

This is my first order from sasa.com and I got 4 products.



First is

VOV Fresh mini pack in green tea collage. 
There are 7 mini pack 'flavors' available in sasa.com and I got one in green tea. It's a sachet that contains 10 ml of essence so it could be use a couple times. The instruction/ingredient was in korean so I couldnt understand any of it but on the website it says 1. apply on cleansed face 2. wait for 15-20 minutes 3. rinse of with lukewarm water. Soooo I followed the directions and after 20 minutes... My face was really moisturized and slightly brighter than before. YAY
Pros:
-> It cost $1.40
-> plenty of essence for multiple application
-> Result can be seen immediately
-> No strong scent
-> I didnt experience any irritations
Cons:
-> can only be bought online (for those in the US like me)
-> some reviews say that they experience small red bumps after using this
I guess it depends on each individuals skin type, and it's always best to test a small patch of skin before using new products on your entire face.
Would I buy this product again? Yes

Second Product I got

Shills Avocado eye cream.
this was $9.30 relatively cheap compared to some other eye creams I have used. I'm really wary with eye creams since I've only had bad experiences with them. I have tried L'oreal and Bliss all around eye cream and it was baaad. L'oreal always made my eyes feel heavy? I feel that it was too thick for me, it never gave me any result, and if I use it at night I would always wake up with some sticky residue. blah!  Bliss all around eye cream at first looked promising but then after 3 days I noticed that the skin around my eyes have this little bumps, and the tingling sensation when applied started burning. I guess I have really sensitive skin?
I have been using Shills avocado eye cream everyday since I got it (2 weeks now) and I havent had any bad experience with it yet.
Pros:
-> eye area became moisturized
-> makeup application stayed and did not crease
-> eye area looked brighter
Cons:
-> I think this is always a con for me but yes, it can only be bought online.
-> I didnt see much improvement with my dark circles. (this is different from looking brighter)
Would I buy this again? I really like this eyecream because it is so far the only eye cream that I am compatible with. so Yes.

Last is the Beauty Mate Nano Eye mask, I dont know what happened to the picture I took but its gone, so I'm just going to get the picture from the website.

This is usually out of stock on the website, One box contains 7 pairs and cost $6.50, this is myy favorite among all the products I bought. I have used this product 3x now and have always love the result. You leave it on for 15-20 minutes and after removing you can see the result right away. My eyes looked so much brighter, dark undereye were lighter, and the skin texture improve a lot. I'm not going to do the pros and cons to this because we all know what the cons would be. I hate paying for shipping and not seeing the products personally.

People have a love/hate relationship with sasa, some say they receive their products 2 months later, or that some products were not carefully wrapped. while some have no problem with their shipping speed at all. For me I have no complains with their shipping speed. I placed my order on Dec 08 2010, received a dispatch notification on the 22nd checked with the tracking and was dispatched from Hong Kong on the 25th. (which I understand because it is the holidays) and Received my products on January 3 2011. total of 9 days all the way from Hong kong to Florida. I have recently placed another order from sasa 2 days ago and received a dispatch notification today so for me shipping is fast. hmm?
